Shane Long remains a doubt for Irelands Euro 2016 play-off against Bosnia.

Southampton have confirmed that the striker will not be involved in Saturday's Premier League trip to Sunderland because of his ankle injury.

Saints boss Ronald Koeman has confirmed that Long was involved in training with the rest of then squad this week, but he is still not fully fit.

Long sustained the injury in the final Euro 2016 qualifier against Poland last month, days after scoring the winner against Germany.
