Jonathan Sexton has been nominated for the IRB Player of the Year Award.
The Ireland and Racing Metro out-half is the only Northern Hemisphere player among the five shortlisted.
The others are All Black pair Julian Savea and Brodie Retallick, along with Springboks Willie Le Roux and Duane Vermeulen.
Sexton was part of the Ireland squad that trained again this morning at Carton House ahead of Sunday's Test with Georgia.
Updates on the fitness of both Jared Payne and flanker Chris Henry are due tomorrow, with the players suffering from a foot sprain and virus respectively.
Rory Best's session was limited to running today, and he is not expected to start on Sunday.
