Ulster say that Andrew Trimble has suffered a recurrence of his toe injury and will miss the rest of the season.

The Irish international had surgery on the injury in London this morning as he looks to get back onto the pitch in time for Ireland's World Cup warm-up matches.

Trimble, who played a key role in last year's Six Nations triumph, originally suffered the injury in October against Glasgow Warriors.
