Serena Williams has won the French Open for a third time after beating Lucie Safarova in three sets in Paris.
She ended up winning 6-3, 6-7, 6-2 at Roland Garros.
Safarova had led by a break in the deciding set, but six straight points helped Williams turn the match around and secure victory.

It is the American's 20th Grand Slam singles title which means she is now just two away from equalling Steffi Graf's Open Era record of 22 majors.
