Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers insists Raheem Sterling did not refuse to play for England in Sunday's Euro 2016 qualifier in Estonia.
National team boss Roy Hodgson says the teenager told him he was tired.
Sterling was a second-half substitute in the match, winning the free-kick which Wayne Rooney scored from.
