Arsenal are on the brink of a Champions League exit at the group stage after a humiliation at the hands of group leaders Bayern Munich.

The German side outclassed the Gunners in a 5-1 win at the Allianz Arena, and coupled with Olympiakos' late victory over Dinamo Zagreb, it leaves Arsenal six points off the Greek side with just two games to go.

Robert Lewandowski headed Bayern 1-0 up after 10 minutes, before Mesut Ozil had an equaliser ruled out after the ball went in off his elbow.

But Bayern took control of the scoreline by half-time as Thomas Muller first and then a David Alaba curler put them 3-0 up.

Arjen Robben added a fourth for Bayern after the break before Olivier Giroud pulled one back for Arsenal.

But Muller added to Arsene Wenger's woes by applying the icing for Bayern with a fifth in the final stages.

Meanwhile, under-pressure Jose Mourinho achieved a vital win as Chelsea took a 2-1 home win over Dynamo Kiev.

The Blues went in front through an Aleksandar Dragovic own goal, but the same player scored at the right end for the Ukrainian side to leave the scores at 1-1.

But Willian's excellent free-kick seven minutes from time gave Chelsea a vital three points.
