Nico Rosberg won the Bahrain Grand Prix to make it two victories from two in the 2016 Formula 1 world championship.

His Merceds team-mate Lewis Hamilton recovered from being involved in a crash at the first corner of the race to finish in a podium position behind Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen.

He ended third, despite his Mercedes colliding with the Williams of Valtteri Bottas at the start of a race he had started from pole.

For the second race running, Rosberg took full advantge of Hamilton's start line misfortune to take maximum points.

McLaren's Jenson Button failed to finish, while Ferrar's Sebastian Vettel did not make the start line after an engine failure just before the race.
