Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney says he is not concerned by the comments of Alex Ferguson in his new autobiography.
In the book, Fergie said Rooney was not the "sharpest tool on the box" and said he dropped the England international on form last year.
Speaking after last nights 1-0 win over Real Sociedad in which he played a key role in the goal, Rooney said he is only concerned about the new manager.
He also concentrated on the fact that he did not hand in a transfer request.
"Obviously Ferguson has got his own opinion. I've not said nothing and thankfully he's come back and corrected the story that I put a transfer request in. He's come back and proved that I didn't, so I'm thankful for him for it," said Rooney.
