Ronan O'Gara has been left out of the Ireland squad for next weekends game with France.
Declan Kidney has instead opted for Paddy Jackson and Ian Madigan as the back up out-halves to Jonathan Sexton.
However Sexton is a major injury doubt for the game at the Aviva on Saturday.
Jackson started at No 10 ahead of O'Gara in the defeat to Scotland last week with the Munster man replacing him in the second half.
Both Robbie Henshaw and Daren Cave were not considered due to picking up concussions while playing for their provinces over the weekend.
