Romanian scrum-half Florin Surugiu was one of the stars of the 2015 World Cup. 

Surugiu was best remembered for proposing to his girlfriend on the Wembley pitch after Romania's 44-10 loss to Ireland. Off the Ball's Dave McIntyre was on air talking about the win when the event happened below him on the pitch.

The 31-year-old didn't delay in getting married. He married  his now wife Alexandria on Wednesday as revealed by the Romanian Rugby Union.

Romania are in action this weekend in the European Nations Cup. They face Spain in Madrid. Unsurprisingly, Surugiu has the weekend off.
