Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has tipped Jordan Henderson to hit the 10-goal mark in the upcoming season.

The England midfielder energetic displays earned praise last season and he managed four Premier League goals in the last campaign.

The 24-year-old former Sunderland player scored in a friendly win over Manchester City in New York and his manager expects to improve upon his goal count in 2014/15.

"I expect him to get upwards of 10 goals this season. He has the qualities and tactical nous to arrive in places to do that," said Rodgers after the match.
