Roddy Collins has returned to management, taking over the reigns at Waterford United.

Collins who has been out of a job since leaving Derry City just over a year ago, joins the side who are currently bottom of the First Division.

Collins, who has won recent promotions with Monaghan United and Athlone Town takes over with the side currently 15 points behind league leader Finn Harps with only nine games played.

He replaces Tommy Griffin, who stays at the club in a separate capacity.
