Earlier today, Chelsea captain John Terry name-checked Robbie Savage as the type of ex-pro he would not accept criticism from.

Contrasting the former Wales, Blackburn Rovers and Leicester City midfielder with those whose opinions he said he respects, Terry added that Savage had played at a "bad level" during his career.

Savage, who has worked as a pundit since retiring from the game, responded to those comments today on Twitter today and did not appear too perturbed by them:
