Ireland manager Martin O'Neill has confirmed that Robbie Keane will not start tomorrow's friendly international against Poland.
The 33-year-old striker has admitted that he could require surgery to repair a niggling Achilles tendon injury and he sat out tonight's training session at the match-day stadium in Poznan.
Keane and John O'Shea are among the players that are likely to be rested for tomorrow night's game as the new Irish management team try to assess as much of their squad as possible.
