Damien Richardson has parted company with Drogheda United.
The former Cork City and Shamrock Rovers manager took charge of United in July after being appointed as successor to Robbie Horgan and helped the club to a mid-table finish in the Premier Division.
Earlier this week, the told local station LMFM about issues at the club.

"These are dark and desperate days that must be overcome. We need somebody come into the football club and show leadership. We need it now more than any other time in our history," he had said.
