Queens Park Rangers defender Richard Dunne has no thoughts of retirement and intends to play on for a couple of more years.

The former Ireland international has just returned froma knee injury and spoke to Off The Ball's Nathan Murphy at Loftus Road after yesterday's narrow loss to league leaders Chelsea.

"I'd love to stay here and play another year or two, or wherever I'll carry on playing," he said.

On the injury, he feels fortunate that it healed more quickly than he had anticipated.

"I wasn't sure how serious it was when it first happened and I thought maybe it was a longer term one. Luckily it was alright. It's nice to be back and play the last few games and I can see what happens next season.

You can hear the full interview on Off The Ball tonight and also on the Football Show podcast.
