Liverpool have reportedly agreed a fee of around €10 million to sign striker Loic Remy from Queens Park Rangers.
Remy spent last season on loan at Newcastle, having joined QPR in 2013. The French striker scored 14 goals last season. Rodgers is reported to have taken an interest in Remy after he moved away from the idea of singing Swansea striker Wilfred Bony.
The club has spent €72m on four singings this summer: Adam Lallana, Rickie Lambert, Emre Can and Lazar Markovic. The sale of Luis Suarez to Barcelona brought in €95 million to Anfield.
