QPR manager Harry Redknapp says that he is only too happy to take a gamble on signing Ryan Manning.

The Premier League side have won the race to sign the Irish Under-19 international after his contract with Galway United FC expired.

The 18-year-old scored six goals in 2014 as he helped the Tribesmen to win promotion back to the Premier Division.

"He is a busy player who can play off the left or in behind the striker. He is still young and has a lot to learn but it’s a good gamble for us to take," said Redknapp.
