Plans have been announced today for the redevelopment of the RDS in Dublin.
It is expected that the capacity for Leinster Rugby's home ground, as well as the home of the Dublin Horse Show, will increase from 18,500 to 25,000.
An international architectural design competition was launched today, which is the first step in the rebuild.
Any work on the stadium is not expected to start until 2016 at the earliest, however both Leinster and the Dublin Horse Show will remain at the grounds during the redevelopment.
The RDS has been Leinster's home ground since 2007, following their move from Donnybrook stadium.
