QPR caretaker manager Chris Ramsey has been told that he will stay in the job up until the end of the season.

The 52-year-old has been put in temporary charge along with director of football Les Ferdinand after Harry Redknapp's shock departure from the club last week.

On Tuesday night, QPR chairman Tony Fernandes had said that he had got his "dream manager" to replace Redknapp.
