Raheny United have exited the Women's Champions League at the first knockout stage after tonight's second leg defeat to Bristol Academy.

The Irish side trailed Bristol 4 - 0 going into today's away leg and a 2 - 1 defeat saw them bow out 6 - 1 on aggregate.

After a scoreless first half, Natalia Pablos Sanchon and Angharad James had Bristol 2 - 0 up on the night.

Pearl Slattery pulled one back for Raheny but it was too little too late as Bristol advanced to a last-16 glamour tie against Barcelona.
