QPR and Stoke have shared the points, and four goals, in today's lunchtime kick-off at Loftus Road.

Mamé Biram Diouf gave Stoke the lead on eleven minutes, while Stephen Caulker headed Rangers level.

Peter Crouch swept Stoke 2-1 ahead six minutes into the second half and the striker admitted after the game he was disappointed not to hold on to the lead as he felt his side were more deserving of the three points.

“It’s a huge disappointment,” Crouch told BT Sport.

“I think we should have been leading at half-time and to not win the game... I think we were the better team and deserved to win.”

Nico Kranjcar was the man who saved QPR as he made it 2-2 with a wonderful free kick two minutes from time.

Crouch admitted the equaliser was “a sucker blow” but admired the quality of the strike and acknowledged the ever present danger of Krancjar.

“I knew he was a threat and then he goes and does that,” Crouch said.

“It was a great free-kick but if you don’t go and get the three or four goals, you’re always susceptible to that.

“It was a bit of a sucker blow, it’s hard to take but if you don’t punish teams you’re always susceptible to drawing a game.”
