Last week we told you about a friendly wager between Qantas and Air New Zealand ahead of the World Cup Final.
Both airlines are heavily involved with the Australian and New Zealand rugby teams and wanted to place a bet with each other ahead of the game.
The two airlines went back and forth on Twitter about deciding what the stakes should be before deciding on a flight crew of the losing airline having to wear the oppositions jerseys on a journey between the two countries.
New Zealand won the Final, defeating Australia 34-17, becoming the first side to retain the Webb Ellis Cup and become World Champions for a third time.
A bet is a bet. Today we followed through with #AirlineWager and we accepted jerseys from @FlyAirNZ. pic.twitter.com/2Vk6zJGfNV
