Some marketing executive sold this great idea to Puma and they went for it.

It actually sounds like a good idea on paper.

Ask football fans to tweet their favourite footballer and they'll get a personalised tweet back from them with a signed photograph.

But as international footballers are a bit busy, the responses would have to be automated... and that's where it all went hilariously wrong.

Fans tweeted players like Mario Balotelli, Marco Reus, Sergio Aguero, Cesc Fabregas and Radamel Falcao, and received lovely responses like this one from Mario Balotelli above.

But then Twitter users realised that the response was automated and your Twitter name was used to personalise the tweet back to you.

So what happens if you change your Twitter name temporarily? Well, then this happens...
