Sunderland boss Gus Poyet says he would have booed the team off after their FA Cup draw with Fulham.

Fans vented their frustration after they were held by the Championship side, and they are without a Premier League win since Christmas.

But Poyet hopes the supporters will stick with them during tomorrow's game with Burnley.

"It was poor. I would [boo] so I'm not going to be hypocritical. I just say that during the game, we've got different characters and there are people who can cope with nerves, which is part of football as well. Some others can't," he said.
