The Cork County Board have confirmed that they have been given planning permission for the redevelopment of Pairc Ui Chaoimh.

The €67 million expansion plan will see the ground being expanded to accommodate 45,000 fans as well as new dressing rooms, a pre-match warm up area, medical facilities, restaurants and conference rooms.

A new Centre of Excellence is also part of the two-year project.
