Ireland winger Anthony Pilkington has been ruled out for up to 6 weeks.
It has been confirmed that the Norwich player is out until the new year with a Grade 2 hamstring tear.
Meanwhile his Ireland team-mate West Brom striker Shane Long, who scored twice against Aston Villa on Monday night, says there is plenty of time to sort out his future.
The 26-year-old who's out of contract in the summer says there are no developments yet but there is plenty of time left adding he is sure the club will think about what's best for them and him.
Explaining that he is happy at the club, Long admitted that "there are enough things to worry about on the pitch without worrying about things off it."
WBA manager Steve Clarke has already indicated that he hopes to see Long extend his deal.
