There are many ways to tell a story.
Wonderful voices and commentary can get stuck in our heads, while images can live in that space behind our mind's eyes occasionally opening a door to a former time.
The team at INPHO photography have compiled their best images from the year so here are 10 which really showed the story of a remarkable 2014 in sport.
