Plans to expand Anfield have been part of Liverpool's agenda for quite some time and today images emerged revealing what the stadium could look like when finished.

The Reds current capacity stands at about 45,000 seats but the club intends to raise this to 60,000 in a multi-million pound project. 

According to the Daily Mail, Liverpool plan to apply for planning permission before the end of this season and that a significant number of houses would need to be demolished in order for the project to proceed.
