Drogheda United have appointed Pete Mahon as the club’s new assistant manager.

The former UCD, Bohemians and St. Pat’s manager joins Johnny McDonnell in the dugout, while former Ireland international Mark Kinsella will remains at the club as part of the coaching staff.

The club today said that Mahon, “will add a wealth of experience having been involved in League of Ireland football for over 30 years.”

Drogheda’s opening game of the Airtricity Premier Division season is against Bray Wanderers on March 7.
