On the eve of the FA Cup final, speculation is mounting that Roberto Mancini will be replaced as Man City manager by Manuel Pellegrini this summer.
Pellegrini who led Villareal to the Champions League semi-final in 2006, and Malaga to the last eight this season, has also been linked with PSG.
However it is claimed that the Chilean has agreed to replace Mancini at the Etihad as City will pay his €4 million release clause.
City's Director of Football Txiki Begiristain reportedly held a meeting with Pellegrini's agent Jesus Martinez last month.
The club are also expected to bid for Malaga attacking midfielder Isco.
Begiristain and fellow ex-Barca backroom team member Fernando Soriano are believed to be paving the way for the implementation of a 4-3-3 formation for next season.
