Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini believes it is too early in the season to be talking about his side being in decline.

Their hopes of progressing to the Champions League knockout stages took a massive blow on Wednesday night following their loss to CSKA Moscow.

The Premier League champions are also six points off leaders Chelsea in their domestic campaign and are in a poor run of form.

But Pellegrini insists they can turn things around.

"Maybe in November last season we were in a worse position than we are now in the Premier League," he said.
