Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has been given an immediate two match touchline ban by UEFA.

He will also have another match ban suspended for the next two years, following comments he made about the referee after City's Champions League defeat to Barcelona.

The Chilean claimed referee Jonas Eriksson was "not impartial" and also made disparaging remarks about Swedish football.

He will miss his side's return leg at the Nou Camp as a result.
