Football legend Pele has been released from hospital, just over two weeks after being admitted with a urinary infection.

The three-time World Cup winner, who is 74, was being treated in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

He had been moved to a private part of the hospital two weeks ago, which had sparked fears over the state of his health.

However, both Pele and his spokesperson played down those concerns, stating that he was doing fine and just required more privacy.
