Spanish forward Pedro has announced that he'll be departing Chelsea when his contract expires at Stamford Bridge at the end of the season.

The 32-year-old's deal is set to expire at Stamford Bridge on June the 30th and he may already have played his final match for Frank Lampard's side - unless FIFA agree to allow clubs to make short-term contract extensions due to suspension of leagues during the COVID-19 crisis.

Pedro has made over 200 appearances and won a Premier League, FA Cup and the Europa League since joining the Blues from Barcelona for 25-million Euro in 2015.

"I'm terminating my contract, but right now it's not the most important thing, nor have I stopped to think about it.

"The most important thing is for everyone to show solidarity. Whatever happens regarding my future will happen, but right now it's not important as we don't even know when we will return to training.

"We have been in quarantine because one of our players tested positive for coronavirus. He is now well and we are very happy for him."
