Lance Armstrong is coming to Dublin in October.
The disgraced cyclist is taking part in the OneZero Conference in the RDS, and is one of the feature guests during the one-day event. The Texan was due to take part in a 90-minute one-on-one chat about his career.
Earlier this week it was confirmed that Brazilian-based Irish journalist Ewan MacKenna would be the man to grill Armstrong. On Tuesday night though, it looked like Armstrong had other ideas.
Hey @PaulKimmage, here's a thought. How about you and I do the interview @OneZeroCon?

Despite losing a potential interview of a lifetime, MacKenna seemed to have no issue stepping aside allowing Kimmage to take hotseat for the "fireside chat".
Seems @lancearmstrong wants @PaulKimmage, not me, according to his account. History is there. Best of luck to them. Happy to step aside.

The fellow cyclist was having none of Armstrong's offer, claiming the he was being confused "with one of those muppets that used to dance to your tune."
Whatever happens, it will be a must-watch 90 minutes.
@lancearmstrong @OneZeroCon You're confusing me with one of those muppets that used to dance to your tune.

@lancearmstrong But I'll answer you, although I'm not sure you deserve it. Will I sit diwn with you? Absolutely. But not on these terms

Kimmage and Armstrong have previous experience with each other, most notably ahead of the 2009 Tour of California. Kimmage's question has since gone down in folklore.
