Pat Nevin has predicted that Jurgen Klopp will do "incredibly well" with Liverpool after watching their victory over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

The ex-Everton and Chelsea midfielder, who also gave his take on the continued situation concerning Jose Mourinho, told Off The Ball of what he witnessed.

"I suspect he's going to do incredibly well because he's already got that group of players [playing for him]. There was no point in that game where I thought Liverpool looked anything other than utterly confident, good and comfortable on the ball. Every player wanting it, every player wanting to do it for themselves, for their fans and particularly for the manager," he said.

Pat also contrasted Klopp's demeanour with Mourinho's post-match.

"He's basically really cool, really likeable and possibly just about the most charming manager that I've ever seen in football," he said, adding that it "showed Jose Mourinho under that pressure in sharp relief".
