Padraig Harrington remains well in contention after the opening round at the Portugal Masters.
The three-time major winner carded a 66 to put himself on 5-under par for the day.
That is enough to put the Irishman three shots off the lead.
The leader at present is Scotland's Marc Warren who is on 8-under.
Behind him is a five way tie for second on 7-under.
David Lipsky, Mikko Korhonen, Callum Shinkwin, Matthew Baldwin and Eddie Pepperell make up that chasing pack.
Harrington is currently in a tie for 13th.
Northern Ireland's Michael Hoey is further back on even par for now, just ahead of Greystones golfer Paul Dunne who carded a 2-over 73.
The tournament is taking place at the Victoria Clube de Golfe course.
