Former Bolton and Burnley boss Owen Coyle has become the new head coach of Major League Soccer team Houston Dynamo.

The ex-Ireland international has been out of work since leaving Wigan Athletic last December, having had previous spells with Burnley and Bolton in the Premier League.

Dynamo missed out on the MLS Playoffs this season.
