After the high of winning the first two Six Nations games, Jonathan Sexton returns to Racing Metro for Top 14 action before the England game in two weeks.

The fly-half recently admitted that he has been tempted to leave Racing as he adapts to life in France.

However, Sexton told Dave McIntyre that those reports are not wholly accurate.

"I've been taken out of context a little bit. In an interview with BBC, I said sometimes I feel like there have been times that I felt like walking out and saying this isn't right for me. But then there are other times when I've spoken to Laura [Priestly] and said we could be here for the next seven or eight years," said Sexton who also explained that he is "enjoying certain things" about life with Racing Metro.

Sexton returns to France tonight with Welsh duo and Racing colleagues Dan Lydiate and Jamie Roberts.

"I've grown really close to Dan over there. We've become really good friends and it's the same with Jamie. You tend to grow close to the English-speaking foreign lads more than the Fijians who don't really speak English or French. It was very strange playing against them at the weekend."

Strange it may have been but Sexton and his Ireland team-mates did the business against the Welsh on Saturday with a good kick-chase, strong lineout and excellent maul paying off.

"It wasn't the only plan we had. We probably two or three different ways about how we wanted to play. Luckily the way that we were playing turned out to be the right way. We could have switched things up a bit and maybe we would have done things differently," said Sexton who highlighted the role of the pack in the victory.

But he also addressed the kick-chase which worked well against the Welsh.

"Our tactic wasn't to go and kick the a*** off the ball, it was to go out and make sure we kept them on the back foot."
