With the baseball season having come to a close last week as the Chicago Cubs won the World Series, one team is continuing a unique way to keep their stadium open to fans in the off-season.

For the second year in a row, Petco Park, the home of the San Diego Padres has been turned into a nine hole golf course called The Links at Petco Park.

It is not the first time the stadium has hosted non-baseball events. Great Britain faced the United States in a Davis Cup match in the stadium at the beginning of 2014, while Petco Park also hosted the USA Rugby Sevens event from 2007 to 2009.

The stadium has been the home of the Padres since its opening in 2004. The team failed to reach the play-offs this year, which meant the course could be created quicker than expected.
