The Mullingar Shuffle was back in full swing last night as John Joe Nevin fought for the first time in since last November.
Nevin won his fourth fight as a professional to remain unbeaten after he defeated Mexican Victor Raul Capaceta in MCU Park in Brooklyn. The win was Nevin's third stoppage win in a row and he becomes the first fighter to stop Capaceta. The Mexican had lost previous fights but they all went to the judges scorecards.
The fight marks Nevin's return to the ring after a difficult period for the fighter who was charged with a violent disorder offence after an incident outside a pub in Mullingar in April
Another win by stoppage 4-0 wasn't the best performances but a win is a win glad to be back #mullingarshuffle #4-0 pic.twitter.com/wOSeVYEIWs
