Offaly U21 hurling manager Dermot Hogan has died after an accident at his home.
The 45-year-old was painting part of his shed at a farm in Coolderry, when he fell through the roof and suffered serious injuries.
In the wake of the tragedy, Offaly County Chairperson, Padraig Boland offered his condolences:
"While, Dermot’s loss to Coolderry and Offaly hurling will be huge, it pale’s into insignificance when compared to the loss that will be felt by his wife Marie and family and our thoughts and prayers are with them at this extremely sad time."
