The 2016 season has seen to of the NFL's traditional giants return to the top of the pile.

Dallas Cowboys are the top seeds in the NFC after 11 weeks. In the AFC? The Oakland Raiders have moved to 8-2, after Monday night's win against AFC South leaders Houston Texans.

In the Mexico City clash, the Raiders were 27-20 winners. The match was the first regular-season game to take place in Mexico since over 103,000 saw Arizona beat San Francisco 31-14 in 2005.

The teams were level at 10-10 at half-time after Jalen Richard (Oakland) and Braxton Miller (Houston) scored in the second-quarter.

After trailing 17-13 ahead of the final-quarter, the Raiders took charge in the fourth-quarter, as quarterback Derek Carr continued his excellent season.

The 25-year-old threw passes to Jamize Olawale and Amari Cooper, the Olawale's touchdown being scored from 75-yards. 

The Week 12 fixtures sees the Raiders welcome Carolina to Oakland, while the Texans are at home to the San Diego Chargers.
