Despite the closure of the transfer window in England, it looks as though Nikica Jelavić could still be on the move to China, where deals can go through until February 26th.

The Croatian, who joined West Ham from Hull in the summer, is reportedly a target for Chinese second division side Beijing Renhe, with a figure of around £9 million being touted as the potential transfer fee.

Jelavić has scored just twice in his 12 league games for the Hammers, and is behind Andy Carroll and Enner Valencia in the pecking order for the first team squad, with competition from Mauro Zarate and Daifra Sakho to contend with too.

Chinese clubs have been spending big in this transfer window, with big deals for Ramires from Chelsea, Jackson Martínez from Atlético Madrid and Alex Texeira from Shakhtar Donetsk all moving in big money deals.

The league smashed its own transfer record three times in 10 days, and there are now a number of rumours that further deals are set to go through before the window closes at the end of the month, including an audacious £38m bid for Dimitri Payet.
