The build up to tomorrow's Manchester City v Arsenal match should be focused on the football.
But due to the noises coming out of the Arsenal camp, thoughts have been turning to flight plans and calendars.
With the Gunners playing Napoli in Italy on Wednesday night, Man City have had an extra 24 hours rest.
Former Arsenal left-back Nigel Winterburn told Off The Ball that there should be no excuses.
"You have to take it on a chin when you're thrown a conundrum like this weekend," he told Ger.
"It's not ideal but most teams in the Champions League have had this conundrum at some stage. You have to really focus on the performance and make the players believe that they are not tired. There's a lot of travelling so Arsene Wenger will have to juggle his squad and see how they are physically. I think it's quite obvious that he'll freshen up the midfield area. I don't see how he would start with the same eleven as in Napoli."
And Winteburn believes the Gunners must bring a positive frame of mind into the game.
"I know Arsenal have lost up there recently in the last couple of seasons. But they've actually played really well up there. They've kept the ball and at times they've frustrated Man City. I think they'll do the same again. Man City have got some good quality players and very strong at home but if Arsenal can move the ball quickly and be precise as they have done for the majority of this season, then Arsene Wenger will be telling his team that they can cause Manchester City a lot of problems."
