As series 4 of Love/Hate gets underway, viewers are wondering what they can expect? So far we have had a tiger kidnapping, a very unfortunate cat - and of course, a love for fizzy orange.
An average of 971,000 viewers watched the first episode of the new series last Sunday - making it the most-watched episode of the show ever.
Coming up we will see Nidge get his hooks deeper into a client who has fallen behind on his tab at the brothel, and uses the opportunity to extort him into helping to import a large consignment of drugs.
But unknown to the gang, his activities have attracted the attention of the gardaí in the form of a semi-autonomous squad of secret undercover operatives, headed by Detective Inspector Mick Moynihan.
Cool, steely and manipulative, he is determined to bring Nidge down - and his unit employs an array of complex surveillance, mind games and dirty tricks against his target.
As an increasingly paranoid Nidge works to put together the deal of a lifetime, he is unaware Moynihan and his team are watching his every move.
But in this teaser from next week's episode, we see Nidge share a softer moment with his son - awww.
