Vincenzo Nibali has won the 2013 Giro d’Italia, finishing four minutes and 43 seconds ahead of the chasing pack, with Rigoberto Uran finishing in second spot, and Cadel Evans in third.

Britain’s Mark Cavendish won the red points leader’s jersey on the final stage to Brescia.

Cavendish took his fifth win of the three week race.
