In case you missed it on Saturday, here’s our weekly Saturday panel taking an in depth look at Irish rugby.
Saturday’s panel was comprised of former Ireland star Shane Byrne, Irish Times rugby correspondent Gerry Thornley and ex-Leinster prop Emmet Byrne. The panel was with Ger Gilroy, pitchside at the Aviva stadium before the clash between Leinster and Clermont.
Some of the main issues up for discussion were - the Mike McCarthy transfer row between Leinster and Connacht and Ulster’s ability to handle expectation.
