Newcastle have climbed above Everton in the Barclays Premier League table after a 3-2 win at St James Park.

It was the Toffees who went in front on 5 minutes through Arouna Kone.

But goals from Papiss Cisse and Ayoze Perez either side of half-time turned the game around.

With 20 minutes to go, Jack Colback made the most of a Ross Barkley error to make it 3-1.

Kevin Mirallas raced clear to leave Everton 3-2 down but Newcastle held on to their lead, with Perez hitting the post late on.
